Greet and assist customers with questions, recommendations and reaching for items.
Support customers in any situation of emergency and accident and inform manager/supervisor immediately
Ensures cleanliness of frozen cases, storage area, and work area for safety, including the cleaning of shelves and products, keeping floors free of liquid spills or water, removing hazardous debris from the floor, and sweeping
Label, stock and inventory department merchandise
Stocks frozen cases, including the presentation of product, facing, filling, and organization of all product items as set by the Frozen Department as well as ensuring tag and pricing accuracy
Rotate products and goods according to the company's instructions; remove expired stock and out-dated or spoiled items
Receives, inspects, and logs products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers are maintained and temperature logs are maintained.
Requires operating and using equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
Practice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify appropriate department or store manager of any items in need of repair.
Report all safety risks or issues, and illegal activity, including: robbery, theft or fraud.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency degree
Ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team,
Strong sense of hygiene and cleanliness
Able to move, lift and carry a minimum of 20-50lbs
Flexible to work day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts as required
Able to stand and walk around for long periods at a time
Must be able to work in a cold environment consistently
